Since being guests at Jess & Luke’s wedding in 2010 we’d been wanting to arrange a love shoot with them. As if Jess’ handmade vintage lace dress alone wasn’t enough, we think Style Me Pretty hit the nail on the head when they wrote “…this couple could be models… these cuties have chemistry literally jumping right off the computer screen…” on this October 2011 feature.

This was our second time using Bec from Fox + Rabbit’s floral talents and after seeing how perfect this bouquet was, hopefully you can see why we continue to use her as much as possible!

And our new website is officially live! We couldn’t think of a better post to begin with than the shoot that started it all.

This adorable couple were kind enough to lend us their good looks for an afternoon in Autumn 2011 for this Love Shoot. As well as being yet-to-be-named Still Love’s very first foray into the world of wedding/love shooting (having previously focused on helping out some amateur models building their portfolios prior to this), it was the start of many collaborations between ourselves, Emma from Milla Makeup and Bec from Fox + Rabbit.

Michaela and Joel were a great deal of fun to shoot, and a big thanks goes out to them for starting our love affair with shooting vintage style love shoots! This shoot served us greatly as well, scoring a feature on both Style Me Pretty and Style & Bride!
