FAQ

WHERE ARE YOU GUYS BASED?

We’re tucked over in Perth, WA – but we travel a lot so… there’s that!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

Candid/documentary mixed with creative portraiture. One is good for capturing all the big + little stuff throughout the day, the other one is good for nailing those awesome photos of the two of you.

WHO ACTUALLY SHOOTS ON THE WEDDING DAY?

Both of us. Every wedding. It’s one of the things we like most: you get two for-realsies wedding photographers. Plus we actually kinda like working together (and we’re super competitive with each other for who takes the best photos).

SO WHO’S BETTER OUT OF THE TWO OF YOU THEN?

Don’t even start. Every time we edit a wedding together it’s a constant battle. We shoot the same style, but we both have different things that we like focusing on. Which just means more stubbornness really when it comes to who claims best photographer.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU GUYS?

Once you decide to book, to lock us in for your date it’s a $1000 deposit and a signed contract and we’re all yours!

DO WE HAVE TO BE GOOD AT HAVING OUR PHOTO TAKEN?

No. Not at all. You just have to be able to get a bit close to the person you’re marrying and enjoy the day. If you can do those two things, you’re set!

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED FOR PORTRAITS ON THE WEDDING DAY?

We’ve done portraits (we call it ‘portraits’ but we just mean that middle time where we disappear with you both, it’s still pretty candid!) in as little as 10 minutes, and also over 4 hours. Ideally, we’d want to have you to ourselves for around 1.5 hours. That gives us all time to be creative and as relaxed as possible. We also don’t need the bridal party around that whole time: we really want to spend most of it with just you guys so you can relax and enjoy each others company while we do our thing.

DO YOU GUYS DO ALBUMS?

Yes. And they’re pretty great. They’re big and have a stench of awesomeness (and new book smell).

WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE?

In layman’s terms: a buttload. More specifically, we’re putting up a Gear page soon (once we take photos of our gear) so if you’re so inclined, check back later!
