Fleur+Andy Pre-wedding Shoot

One of our very early on pre-wedding shoots is also one of our favourites, as we got to meet and shoot an amazing couple, Fleur+Andy. We also shot one of our favourite images, with these guys sitting right in the area on the boardwalk where Andy had popped the question a few months earlier. These guys, as you can see, are extremely cute together, and we knew we were going to love shooting their Perth wedding a little while later (that blog post is here!). Fleur+Andy were actually one of our very first weddings and we’re extremely grateful to have gotten off to such a great start with a perfect couple!

Still Love on Google+

For those that are interested, there’s now a Still Love – Perth wedding photography page on Google+! We’ll keep updating our Facebook page at the same time, but no longer will we have to solely put up with Facebook’s low quality images!

Naomi+Devin Styled Shoot

This shoot goes back to February 2011 but remains one of our favourites for a few reasons. Firstly, the real-life engaged couple who were were having their own Perth wedding a few months later, were amazing (and extra credit as they’d just jumped off a plane that same day!); secondly, it was the start of our own new style of shooting and editing to which we are now recognised for; but mostly, we got to work with some of the best vendors in Perth to pull this shoot together.

The incredible cake you’ll see was made by our new friend, Priscilla, from Priscilla Queen of Desserts (who also gave the whole crew the best cupcakes we’ve ever had). The makeup, hair and model styling was done to perfection by our favourite makeup artist, Emma from Milla Makeup. The exquisite floral art and painstaking environmental styling were done by the very clever Bec from Fox and Rabbit.

We can’t talk up Priscilla, Emma + Bec enough for this shoot. We went in with the idea to try something different and came out with the exact result thanks to everyone’s talents. And we were glad that The Bride’s Cafe agreed by featuring us in their February entry!

Kim+Matt’s Wedding

In April this year we were able to photograph the wedding of Kim+Matt. Lauren has been friends with Kim since their high school days so this was one of the few weddings where she got a day off from shooting to be a bridesmaid! As you’ll be able to tell from the images, Kim+Matt’s adorable daughter was a bit of a show-stealer throughout the day! The morning was very relaxed and then the the setup and atmosphere at the Bluewater Grill in Applecross was perfect. After the happy ceremony we wandered down to Point Heathcote Reserve for a few shots and a bit of relaxing before a really fun reception!
